Inside your mouth sucking the sun is an opera project by composer Niels Rønsholdt and Signe Klejs (digital set design and staging).
The collaboration combines two formal ways of thinking: a linear (the music) and the non-linear (the digital and interactive).

The project takes its starting point in the letter exchange between Napoleon Bonaparte and his beloved Josephine. The letters is a picture on the physical distance and the mental presence.

Inside your mouth sucking the sun was shown at EntreScenen, Aarhus, PLEX Kbh, Grusomhetens Theater, Oslo, Tau Scene, Stavanger and the National Theater, Bergen.

Samarbejdet forbinder to måder at tænke på; den lineære (musikken) og den non-lineære (det digitale og interaktive).

Operaen tager sit udgangspunkt i brevvekslingen imellem Napoleon Bonaparte og hans elskede Josephine. Brevene er et billede på den fysiske distance imellem dem - og det mentale nærvær.

Inside your mouth sucking the sun blev vist første gang på Entréscenen, Århus, PLEX i Kbh, Grusomhetens Theater Oslo, Tau Scene i Stavanger og National Teatret i Bergen.
