Dr. God was my solution on the assignment of 5 hours visuals to Nordic Music Days 2010 day 2-concert.
With a programme containing works from more than 10 different composers and more than 20 different music pieces I took startingpoint in the need of something unifying - and what is more gathering than an Island?
So I builded an Island - with a lake, a vulcano, a cave, a canyon, a ruin etc - each music piece got its own object.
During the concerts the Island was filmed - and generated live graphics - mixed it with prepared video and photos for a living and aestetic expression.
The pictures were projected on boarded up window sections - four in a row on each side of the room - and because of the live filming and the dark room the audience seemed to fly through the miniature landscape as the music was playing.

Med et program, der indeholdte værker fra mere end 10 forskellige komponister og mere end 20 forskellige musikstykker jeg tog udgangspunkt i en ø som kunne samle en broget skare.
Så jeg byggede en ø - med en sø, en vulkan, en hule, en canyon, en ruin osv. - hvert musikstykke fik sit eget objekt på øen.
Under koncerterne øen blev filmet - og genereret live-grafik blandet det med forberedt video og fotos - blev udtrykket levende og æstetisk.
Billederne blev projiceret op på afblændede vinduesfag - fire i en række på hver side af rummet - og på grund af live-optagelserne, og det mørke rum syntes publikum at flyve gennem et miniature landskab imens musikken spillede.
